The name A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw is derived from the Goblin language, as A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw was founded by Brîbêj Byocti Zêb, who was culturaly Goblin.

Climate

A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw has a yearly average temperature of 14°C (57°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a cool 17°C (62°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 12°C (53°F). Overview

A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1173, by Brîbêj Byocti Zêb. The establishment of A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw's construction back out of the project. Brîbêj Byocti Zêb pushed on reguardles, and A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw is buildings folow an organic layout of narrow paverstone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. Astonishigly, the failry decent fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw gives you a feeling of distrust and paranoia. Also greed. The locals seem to be very much into scholastic pursuits, based on the hushed, murmured conversations you hear at least. Everyone in A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw acts like they have discovered something wondrous, and are worried they will endure some horrible fate so another can take what they’ve discovered for themselves.

A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is recurring in A̋y Paẃmp̪f̄ä Nêōw.
